As
we continue to focus on the Savior during this sacred week, today we will move
to the letter “V” in the name Savior. The attribute that we will look at is
Jesus as the “victor”. I am sure no
one will willingly volunteer to be on a losing team. Winning is always the goal
in any area of competition. Why should it
be any different in the spiritual arena?
We should all have the idea of
winning (spiritually speaking) as our focus. Thankfully for us, this has already been made possible because
Jesus is the victor. We can rejoice in His work at the cross because it was
there He conquered death, hell and the grave! The issues we face today have
already been dealt with at the cross. We can find comfort in knowing that no
matter what the Supreme Court says, the President, no matter if there is an
economic crisis, or a personal crisis you face, Jesus is the victor!
Furthermore, that means that if He has already won, so have we! Be
encouraged today!
