Has God told
you something? Do you sense the Holy Spirit is leading you in a specific
direction? Has he given you a vision or a dream? If you answered yes to any of these, then I
urge you to do this: Write it down. “Why?”
you may ask. Because when we write down what God has shown us, it provides documentation
of that vision. I write what God shows me down so that when it does come to pass I
can look back at it and see just how God did what He said or what He showed me He would do. We read in Habbakuk
2:2-4, “Then the Lord replied: “Write down the
revelation and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with
it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the
end
and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will
certainly come and will not delay.
Sometimes we tend to dismiss the things that God drops in our
spirit as nothing when they are really visions that God is giving to us. Write them down. In those times when it seems like God
has forgotten us or that that thing we’ve been waiting to come to pass will
never come to pass we can go back and read what we wrote, and use that to
encourage us. Don’t give up on the vision.
I declare, it will come to pass!
