SIMPLE MATH

I woke up this morning with a particular scripture on my mind and heart. It is found in 1 John 4:4 and it reads “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” I need to be reminded of this and perhaps you do too. It is a simple math equation,

You + God [in any situation] = Overcomer

We tend to focus on our problems, our challenges, our struggles but we have to be reminded that God has conquered all things and He is greater than anything we face. So at this very moment remind yourself that He is GREATER THAN it all!

Greater than sickness.

Greater than a bad diagnosis.

Greater than marital problems.

Greater than troubled kids.

Greater than financial troubles.

Greater than depression.

Greater than terrorist attacks.

Greater than…

Rest in knowing that the God you serve has already overcome the “thing” you are facing. Take your eyes off of “it” and focus on Him. Find strength and encouragement in His Word.

You ARE an overcomer! Be encouraged today!
