move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.” Acts 17:28
I was thinking about how I have been feeling motivated here
lately to do the things God has called me to do. Unfortunately, it has not
always been this way. There was a time when I had little to no motivation
to do or be what He had called me to. I
believe that there are a lot of people that have no motivation to use their
gifts and talents for God for varying reasons. For a great number of people the
circumstances of life have caused them to lose hope and not go after the things
of God. But what if we just focus on what God has done for us? What if we chose
to not look at the circumstances (I know that can be tough.)? What if we
focused on the fact that without God we are nothing because He is the reason we
exist? Isn’t that motivation enough to do whatever it is He has called you to
do? Meditate on His goodness, His grace
and mercy extended to you. Isn’t that
motivation enough to surrender to His will? It is for me! Be
encouraged today!
