WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Do you believe that God’s Word is true? Do you believe that His promises are not only true, but that they apply specifically to your life? If you are like most, your answer would be a resounding “Yes!”. You didn’t have to give it a second thought. In fact you were probably thinking it is absurd to even ask a question like that, right? My motive was not to offend anyone, but to get at an issue. I think that it is actually a very serious one. There are so many of us that read the Word, we can quote the Word verbatim, but we fall short on the “Doing” part. I wonder why that is. If we say we believe His Word is true and that His promises are legit, why can’t we act on His Word?

If He says “Trust Him with all your heart” why can’t we do it?
If He says, “Walk by faith and not by sight”  why can’t we do it?
If He says, “No weapon formed against us will prosper” why do we fear?
If He says He will deliver and heal, why can’t we stand on His Word?

There are so many promises available to us, but it is conditional because not only do they require our belief, but also they require us to “DO”. If you never take a step to DO anything, how can you expect God to bring things that He has promised to pass in your life? We have it confused we think that we are waiting on God to make things happen, but God is actually waiting on us to line up, obey, and DO our part. There is no time for “relaxing believers” there is too much work to be done.

Ask yourself  “What am I DOING?” If you can’t come up with an answer or you struggle with answering that question then that means your “DOING” (or the lack there of) is hindering your blessing, your breakthrough, your growth. It is time to get busy. Make a move today!
