Lesson from the Storm (test Post)

The storm was upon us and we were trying to make our way home. The signs were quite evident as I looked around ; dark skies, heavy winds, and eventually heavy rain. As we we were almost there, we ran into the midst of it and the sirens begin to blare and then there was a message that followed the sirens. The message started with the status of the storm, but I can't remember the exact words. For some reason I only caught the tail end of the message: "Seek Shelter". I thought if I can just get home, I will be safe. As I made it to the house and the storm ran its course, for some reason that message "Seek Shelter" continued to play over and over in my head. I thought there has to be something to it, perhaps God was trying to show me that the same message that applied to the physical storm could also be applied to a spiritual storm "Seek Shelter". In those times when the storms of life are raging and it seems you are in the midst of it and it seems like it won't pass over, the best thing we can do is SEEK SHELTER!!!! The scripture says in Psalms 27:5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
The rain may come, the wind may blow, the darkness may seem to engulf everything, but I can't think of a better way to weather the storms of life, than to find shelter in Him!
